Little Elm ISD continues to build momentum in academics, with notable gains in the latest Texas Education Agency accountability ratings. In just two years, schools across the District have shown growth, equity, and achievement that reflect the hard work of students, teachers, and staff.

District-Wide Growth
The District rating has steadily climbed over the last three years:

• 2023: 71 (C)

• 2024: 74 (C)

• 2025: 79 (C)

That’s an 8-point increase in just two years, showing consistent upward progress.

Campus Highlights

• Little Elm High School

  • 2023: 66 (C)

  • 2024: 76 (C)

  • 2025: 85 (B)

  • 19-point increase in two years

  • Earned an A in Closing the Gaps, a 28-point improvement that demonstrates achievement across all student groups.

• Prestwick

  • 2024: 85 (B)

  • 2025: 91 (A)

  • Achieved its highest rating ever with a 6-point increase in one year.

• Strike Middle School

  • 2024: 74 (C)

  • 2025: 80 (B)

  • Earned its first-ever B rating since A–F accountability began, with a 6-point gain in one year.
